Time moves at its own pace at the Irondequoit, a rustic retreat overlooking Piseco Lake in the southern Adirondacks. Established in 1892, this 600-acre retreat is a sanctuary for vacationers who value peace and quiet. Here, guests enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming and kayaking, tennis, horseshoes and picnicking, just as they did a century ago. And within an easy drive are many more activities and attractions. Our rooms and cabins are comfortable and cozy, or you may bring nature even closer at one of our lakeside campsites.
The Irondequoit's secluded lakeshore features a sandy beach and a dock for boats. The waters abound with small mouth bass, land-locked salmon and lake trout. Our private, five-acre island is a great place for a swim, a picnic lunch, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
